At Eco Parrots Farm, we hand-breed healthy, vibrant parrots on the beautiful island of Hawaii and ship them worldwide with care. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, but due to the live nature of parrots, returns are limited to ensure animal welfare. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.
1. Order Confirmation and Shipping
- All sales are final once the parrot is shipped, except as outlined below.
- We provide a health certificate from a licensed avian veterinarian for every bird at the time of shipping.
- Shipping is via trusted carriers with live animal protocols; buyers are responsible for all shipping fees, customs duties, and import permits (buyer must confirm compliance with local laws).
2. 72-Hour Health Guarantee
- Upon arrival, inspect your parrot within 72 hours.
- If the bird arrives deceased or shows verifiable shipping-related stress/illness (confirmed by a local avian vet), contact us immediately with photos, vet report, and unedited video of the unboxing.
- We’ll refund the purchase price (excluding shipping) or replace the bird at our discretion. Proof of proper quarantine and care during inspection is required.
3. Refunds for Non-Health Issues
- No refunds or returns for “change of mind,” allergies, or buyer remorse—parrots form bonds quickly, and rehoming can cause stress.
- Cancellations before shipping incur a 20% restocking fee to cover hand-breeding costs.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items (Accessories Only)
- For non-parrot items (cages, toys, food), returns are accepted within 30 days if unopened and in original condition.
- Refund issued after item is received back in Hawaii (buyer pays return shipping).
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@tameparrotsforsale.com within the applicable time frame with order number, photos/videos, and details.
- We’ll respond within 48 hours and guide next steps.
- Approved refunds process in 5-10 business days via original payment method.
6. Exclusions and Limitations
- No guarantees after 72 hours; we recommend avian vet check-ups.
- Force majeure (weather delays, carrier issues, import bans) voids guarantees.
- This policy complies with Hawaii and U.S. animal welfare laws; international buyers assume all risks.
